Minister for Relations with Parliament Elisa Spiropali has expressed condolences for the life-sharing of former President Bujar Nishani.
Make peace with President Nishani! Lighten up!
Former President Nishani has passed away at a hospital in Germany from health complications as a result of a several-month battle with COVID-19. He was 56 years old.
Nishani was elected president of Albania in 2012, and served in this position along a full mandate until 2017.
In this position came an academic career near Albania's Armed Forces and several-year engagement in Albania's Ministry of Defence in the first decade of democratic transition.
