Yesterday, at 10 o'clock at the Non-Religious Centre “Challe Joon Kamoletti” of Geneva has been held a major ceremony honouring exile Shemsi Rexhep Shatri, from Kosovo Source Tomoc.
Shemsiu actually died on April 15th last month at “Clinique de Joli-Mont”, annex of Geneva University Hospital.
However, his burial has been postponed as a result of numerous administrative procedures and his firm decision to be buried in Geneva, where he lived with his wife and son, Eitan, for years.
Although working days, Shemsiu's last farewell was given by many of our exiles living in Geneva and other cities in Switzerland.
This baptism began with the comforting words of Mr. Barnérias Dennis, the head of the house “Challe Joho Camoletti” of Geneva, to Shemsiu's many family, friends, and friends.
Then, the full drama of Shemsiu's growth through a writing prepared by the activities of our national cause, Mr. Xhafer Shatri, former Minister of Informates of the Republic of Kosovo in Geneva, revealed Kaltrine Shatri, the niece of the late Shemsie Shatri before present.
This life story, followed by two musical points that Shemsiu listened with great delight to while he was still alive, gave oil to all in attendance.
After the ceremony ended, the coffin with Shemsiu's lifeless body, known by many as James Stern, was transmitted to “ Chimètiere The Vernier municipality of the Republic and Geneva Canton.
In this case, although deeply moved by the pain of grief in separation with Shemsui, some words were also spoken by his fellow associate Muhamet Imeraj.
That Shemsiu's death in foreign land named it a death that hurts more than that on the soil of our fathers and grandparents.
Here's the speech:
Shemsiu, though an intelligent boy with many future projects, is seriously injured when he was only 19.
He and his family on February 2nd 1986 receive the sad news that Hakki Rexhep Shatri, a technical profession of dentistry, the day he had completed mandatory military service in the former Yugoslavia Army, in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, is falsely killed by his Serbian superiors.
It was later confirmed that the order for Hakku's murder had been given by Serbian Aleksandar Vasiljevic, with the army rank colonel.
Just five months later, exactly on June 5, 1986, in Stuttgart, Germany, because of the great pain of his son from a heart attack, Rexhep Shatri dies.
Rexhepi was only 53 years old, doing only honest work, trying to get his family out of poverty.
From this point on, Shemsey's life goes down. The pain for Brother Hawke and his father, Rexhepi, he tries to third through the brandy cup.
However, although we live our lives, like our great writer Mirko Gashi, always attempts to do something good for Kosovo, for whose freedom his ancestors were sacrificed, to generation after generation.
Shemsiu, wanting to upgrade his country's burned-down homeland by the Serbian enemy in 2001, leaves Switzerland and returns to Kosovo.
Just when a million project is under way, some malicious robbers whom Kosovo considered to be the father's <x0-earth “kidnapped and brutally beaten.
This madness of these life - taking criminals caused Shemsiu to eventually return to Geneva.
He, deeply disappointed by what he suffered in his homeland by his countrymen, is also affected by cancer, which, by including his body and making numerous metastases, separates him from life at a time when he most needed small Eitan.
Shemsy for his endless and successive sufferings God's reward of Paradise.
The Shatri family, in memory of all the participants in this mortar, made lunch at the “restaurant. Geneva's La Cité des Vents SA”, whose owner is renowned Albanian businessman Camber Idrizi.
