“This move for membership in the Council of Europe is the culmination of cynicism,” said Serbian Prime Minister from Dubai, where he signed a memorandum for exchanging experiences for development and modernisation, Tanjug reports.
Regarding Kosovo's first step towards membership in this international organisation, Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq has also reacted.
“So Pristina has indicated that it has broken another deal, Washington's one, was brutally violated. It is up to us not to enter into hatred, conflict, but to give a rational answer. Tomorrow is the National Security Council session”.
“This has an additional effect on relations in the region, who needs and who has convinced Pristina to present this initiative, our response should be smart and peaceful, to preserve stability”, Vuciq said.
I ask why they called us in Washington when they first violated the agreement, they want us to recognise Kosovo's independence, we won't do this”, he added.
The National Security Council of Serbia session is scheduled for tomorrow at 11:00.
