Kukes County Prefect Zenel Kucana said that in recent days a high influx of foreign citizens visiting Albania has been seen.
He said that only today at the Morina border checkpoint have 3,230 citizens and 1,421 vehicles been introduced.
“The entrance of foreign and Albanian citizens to the border point of Morina between 24:00 and 14:30 are 3, 230 citizens and 1,421 vehicles, at 3,345 citizens and 1,497 vehicles. By co-operation even with the Kosovo Police, it has been worked with full capacity and the transition has been fast and smoothly”, Kucana told ATSH.
Pushers from Kosovo continue to choose the Albanian coast to spend the weekend, where their numbers are growing and increasing during these May days. Morina's border point is a very important point, since it processes the largest number of visitors during the year.
