Millaku said the number of inspectors is small, compared to the large number of businesses. According to him, the law has determined the degree of fines, and inspectors have the right to pronounce them when they face rights violations.
We have 35 inspectors currently exercising supervision of law enforcement throughout the territory of Kosovo. Of the 35 inspectors, 8 of us have Serbs, 27 others are from the Albanian community. It's a small number compared to the large number of businesses and problems posed in front of our society in relation to employers and employers, but also from safety and labour health”, Milaku told Online Economy.
The employee's <x0... But the biggest problem is the violation of health and security rights at work because the lives and health of workers are being punished. At the moment the law has determined the degree of fines, where inspectors have the right to pronounce fines”, he said.
On the other hand, he added that the parties dissatisfied with the working Inspectorate' decisions could freeze the case in court.
The largest number of accidents result from the construction sector, so Milaku seeks more support from the Government of Kosovo.
The “Rests in court go through administrative conflict, disgruntled parties with the work inspectors' decisions can freeze the case at court”.
When there are cases of work injuries and elements of criminal acts, then the report sent to the prosecutor and the prosecutor is to decide whether to proceed further”.
Workers ' rights are violated from the start of work to the completion of work.
We have the main problem, because the largest number of accidents has resulted from construction. But it doesn't mean that we don't have a potential risk in other activities, even in production, whether trade or transport that doesn't rule out the possibility of accidents”.
“From Government we seek greater support and have a good aim in understanding of assistance in consolidating the overall labour inspectorate”, he said. /EO
