He added that the situation in the besieged city is deteriorating, with hundreds injured.
Earlier, Kremlin press secretary Dmirty Peskov accused Ukraine of curbing peace negotiations. Peskov said the ball was in Kiev's court after Russia handed a document to Ukraine.
Referring to Peskov's statement, Zelensky said he had not seen or heard about the document regarding peace talks.
