“Unfortunately, despite the new energy being appointed by the EU's emissary for dialogue, I learn with despair that the EU's relaxed dialogue with Serbia, which remains the precondition for Kosovo's EU integration, is not a priority for the current government” has said Von Crommon.
She has added that dialogue should be converted into a priority and Kosovo should benefit from the new US-EU co-operation moment.
“Dialog must become political priority and we do not want Kosovo to be viewed by its key international partners as a less constructive side in the dialogue. Instead, we want to see Kosovo move forward to concreteise the agreements reached on energy, car plates and undiscovered persons. Kosovo should also exploit the new window of opportunity with its aleras while there is full transatlantic co-operation for dialogue” has said the rapporteur.
