(4 years ago)U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris proved positive with David-19 on Tuesday after returning from a week-long trip to California, the White House announced. “Today, Vice President Harris proved positive with Ovid-19 after quick tests and PCR. It has not shown symptoms, will be isolated and will continue to work by [...] residence.

Allen added: “She has not been in close contact with President or First Lady because of her last trip. She will follow CDC guidelines and her doctors' advice. The vice president will return to the White House when it results negative. ”
Harris was scheduled to hold her intelligence conference at 10:15 this morning at the White House, along with President Joe Biden, according to instructions sent to reporters.
She did not participate in any events or meetings at the White House on Tuesday, according to an official.
Harris arrived at the White House Tuesday morning went immediately to run a test, he added.
After resulting positive in both the PCR and the rapid tests, she returned home to her residence in the Marine Observatory, where she was isolated.
One official said Harris met Benden for the last time on April 18th. She left Washington for California that afternoon and did not return until Monday evening.
Harris received 2 doses of the Modern vaccine in January 2021.
She took her first strengthening dose at the end of October and a second strengthening vaccine on April 1st. /abcnews
