The event has also been discussed by the Kosovo Correcting Service.
From the SKK, they have said, that cases in police have been initiated against prisoners, while the probation officer has been sent for medical treatment.
The prisoner physically attacked Officer Correcting. Staff Security response has been fast and the situation has immediately been taken over. So the prisoners have initiated the case in the police, while the correct officer has been sent to the institution's station for the medical treatment”.
Kosovo Police have also declared the case.
The 24-hour report revealed that the custody prosecutor was notified about the case.
“Podujevo, 05.04.2022-1500. A Kosovo male has reportedly physically attacked an official, Kosovo male. The victim has accepted medical treatment at QKUK. Regarding the case, the custody prosecutor” is reported in the police report.
