Police detail the anti-drug operation in Mitrovica,

Kosovo police are conducting an anti-drug operation in South Mitrovica.

Kosovo Police spokesman Baki Kelani has said the operation is under way in the continuation of prevention and combating narcotics criminal acts.

He has said full details will be provided after the operation is completed.

Kosovo's “Police, in the continuation of prevention and combating criminal acts in general and in particular against narcotics, are conducting a police operation. For details and additional information regarding this police operation, which is under way in co-operation and co-ordination with the competent prosecutor, you will be notified after the end of the” police operation, Kelani said.

Periscop learns that four people have been handcuffed into the drug operation today in South Mitrovica.

Among those arrested are Albanian citizens, and allegedly the drugs came from Albania.
