Medical tests: Ukrainian women were raped by Russians before they were killed

Forensic tests conducted on the bodies of civilians thrown into mass cemetery in the Kiev region show that women were raped before being brutally murdered.

Dozens of autopsies have been carried out on corpses disabled by Bucha, Irpin and Borodianka, where many show torture signs and multiple bullet holes in the back, writes Dailymail.

Vladislav Pirovsky, a Ukrainian legal doctor who committed autopsys, says there are already several cases showing that those women were raped before they were shot to death.

We can't give more details as my colleagues are still collecting the data and we still have hundreds of bodies to examine”.

He also spoke of the difficulties of identifying troops.

There are many badly disfigured bodies and bodies that are simply impossible to identify. The face can be broken, you can't put it back together, sometimes there's no head at all”

A doctor in northern Kiev said it is difficult to find signs of rape and sexual abuse because troops are in such a bad condition.

Cities around Kiev who were recovered from Ukrainian forces have discovered terrible atrocities, with the bodies of hundreds of dead civilians gathered after Russian troops withdrew.

Investigators have heard evidence of group rape, armed assaults and rapes committed in front of children.

Much of the evidence gathered by Ukrainian prosecutors will soon be forwarded to the International Criminal Court, which has launched an investigation into possible war crimes and crimes against humanity in Ukraine.
