The Kosovo presidency says that once the situation is clarified, the president and MPJ will make the assessment regarding the ambassador's position.
We consider citizens that the president has already requested, in communication with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, since Ambassador Berishaj is required in writing about the article in a media in Slovenia and that Ambassador Berisha is also called to Kosovo to clarify the situation. In the meantime, once the situation is clarified, the president, together with the MPJ, will make the assessment regarding the ambassador's position, as they have done for any other position”, says the report.
The presidency also says Kosovo institutions have never received information from Slovenia's institutions for involving Ambassador Berisha into any criminal acts.
It is important to note that the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo have never received any information from Slovenia's institutions or any other state for Mr. Berisha in any offense. Actually, Mr. Berisha has submitted documentation from Slovenia's institutions that there is no criminal evidence”, the report said.
