The same has declared for Kosovo that the government maintains regular communication with the Biden Administration.
The government of the Republic of Kosovo continues to cultivate bilaterally and traditionally good and friendly relations with the United States of America. We continue constructive co-operation and are in regular and continuous communication with the administration of President Beden and representatives of the American state in Kosovo. The US is our strategic and historical ally to whom we have witnessed reliable and stable partnerships recently in the case of housing of more than 14,000 Afghan refugees. Relations between our two countries are so specific and deep that they exceed a government stance or other”, he has said.
European Commission spokeswoman Ana Pisonero in a written response to the media expressed regret that no consensus for holding Serbia's elections in Kosovo has been found.
Kosovo has a clear European perspective. The EU continues to support Kosovo in approaching the EU, starting through implementation of the EU-Kosovo Stabilisation and Association Agreement that entered into force in 2016. Kosovo's European road also depends on normalising relations with Serbia. We regret that a consensus has not been found between the parties following Kosovo's decision to reject a constructive proposal presented by the QUINT countries. We consider this decision contrary to Kosovo's commitments for its European future and the principle of protecting the democratic rights of all its citizens, including the non-US population”, she said.
