His full post:
Today we mark the Day of Albanian Exodus in memory of over one million Kosovo Albanians who had been violently forced to leave their homes and our country 23 years ago.
It is vital that this story of pain, in our quest for freedom, never be forgotten. Equally important for Kosovo is justice for its victims, which until today, unfortunately, has not yet come.
On this day of our collective memory, of distant history, we express deep gratitude to all Albanians in the region, Albania, Macedonia and Montenegro, who opened their hearts and doors to shelter refugees from Kosovo.
Kosovo will never forget.
