Since 2019 KED has been licensed for health and security services at work. With regulation changing, KEDS has again met all criteria and has been re-licensed by the Ministry of Finance, Labour and Transfers for the same services. And in accordance with Law No. 04/ L-161 for Work Safety and Health and Rule No. 01-2021, it has become the License of the Training Centre to offer professional qualifications from Security and Health at Work.
ECDS Director for Quality, Security and Training Valbone Kadriy said commitment is enormous when it comes to advancing conditions in terms of security and health at work.
“From the start KEDS is committed to continuing to advance in creating the best conditions for security and labour health for all employees in the company. Being the company's priority and in line with legal requirements since 2019 KED has been licensed to provide services from security and labour health to re-licensed in February 2022. If we come back today, when it's World Security and Health Day at work, I can say that this day finds KEDs with a lot of access to this field. All of this thanks to the commitment and dedication of company employees, by respecting international standards and standards from safety and health at work. The achievements are the result of continued promotion of values from security and health at work, with zero accidents in the workplace”, Kadrijaj stressed.
Offering professional qualifications for security and health at work will be organised by KEDs on three levels:
The first level is that of the security and health specialist at work, the advanced level that is profiled in the energy, construction and logistics sector, and the third level is the safety and health expert at work.
While, Izja Doctor, coach at the KED company, said the importance dedicated to workers' health and security is high, therefore the Training Centre has also been established as a special part of KED.
All KED workers are trained in this respect, and each is reported on personal protection equipment, team equipment, but inspections are ongoing.
We constantly train workers, with special emphasis on security, working health, and professional training. During training, we inform them of personal safety equipment, team equipment, which workers use during their daily affairs.
