Beqiri says they do not seek financial but technical assistance, and that would be possible by the country's government.
Problems for one of the biggest employers in Kosovo began last summer with an increase in energy prices.
Ferroonics are supplied with energy by hundreds of percent of international bell.
The price raised at the bell made us stop because the cost of production rose to the extent that it was affordable for our company. Production has been halted exactly on October 8th, totaled six months”, Beqiri said.
Our “employees for these six months have actually been on vacation. Some of them are engaged in custody and cleaning. Management has decided that for this period it pays them 50 percent of their salary, since 50 percent of their time has actually been in their jobs. Most of our workers have loans or have obligations to banks, some of them have managed to cover their bank obligations. But these were the company's options in this period that we haven't worked for”, he explained in T7.
At this time of crisis, we have repeatedly turned to competent bodies, governments, ministries, with demands that a solution be made to Ferronikal, but every time assuming that Ferronic has never asked for financial assistance from the government but only technical assistance that is possible. Unfortunately, we have never received official answers from either the minister or the government or prime minister”, Beqiri said.
We have, in effect, remained in God's mercy so far that we are talking”, Beqiri said.
