A Ukrainian grandmother has narrowly escaped death after a Russian soldier gave her a bag of milk filled with explosives, writes the Daily Mail, reports Periscope.
In a new disturbing direction of Putin's war in Ukraine, Russian soldiers are now pretending to be distributing “humanitarian aid”.
But when the retired man from the besieged city of Kherson began to open the cover of the paper ambalming, she noticed that some cables were tied to the lid.
The old woman's son tells about local media: my retired mother noticed that something was wrong with this milk, it looked like someone had drunk before, or it was damaged. She carefully opened the lid and told me what was inside the box”.
The pack of milk was filled with an explosives made at home and was tied to fishing pins so that it would activate the bomb as soon as the lid was opened.
The aid package was brought home by my mother, even though I asked her not to bring her home”, adds her son.
But yesterday my mother got the help. She saw that closing wasn't airtight and thought someone had drunk the milk before. Then she carefully cut off her ambalazin, and after something that seemed to be threatening”, he relates.
To deceive local residents that products are safe, Russian soldiers are using products produced in Ukraine.
Evidence that Russian soldiers are filling humanitarian aid packages with traps for Ukrainian elderly people comes when rumours have increased that Putin has completely withdrawn from peace talks with Ukraine as he wants to annex as much land as possible.
