The Sarajevo-based Bosnian media '%slobodenje) author of whose writing is editor-in-chief Vildana Selimbegovic, has reacted to Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani's statements on the issue of free visa free movement in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“But what's most important here is what Osman kept quiet. And that's because it was her government that broke the regional agreement on freedom of travel with IDs, which had to solve this issue ʹ leading to the removal of visas between Kosovo and BH”, says the article in “Oslobodenje”.
As the medium writes, Osmani has not stated that representatives of institutions in Kosovo in the process of derogatory negotiations have declared they would not comply with regional agreements that put Kosovo in an uneven position, only to secure visa-free regime with BiH.
This article was preceded by statements by President Osmani, who has told Radio Free Europe that he has held a meeting with members of the BiH Presidency, Zeljko Komsic and Sefik Xhaferovic. “Citizens should not pay the price of non-recognition of Kosovo”, Osmani was quoted as saying among other things. “To make things even more cynical, Kosovo's current government has rejected the demands of former German cancerare Angela Merkel, French President Emmanuel Macron and the entire international community to agree on the regional agreement, which would be signed last July at the German chairmanship under the Berlin Summit”, is further written.
“A means now that the president of Kosovo has realised that the zero-lot game is not going anywhere, or is it naive enough to believe that she will resolve this issue bilaterally with BiH?”, the article says.
