The Czech government has declared a state of emergency from Friday pending a large influx of refugees leaving Ukraine due to the Russian invasion, CNN reports.
“We are implementing it for technical reasons so that we can cope with the influx of refugees”, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala has said.
This will by no means affect Czech citizens”.
The emergency situation will be in effect for 30 days, but it can continue if necessary.
