The besieged northern town of Chernihiv has also seen intensive promotions. Meanwhile, there is no water supply in the city, and parts of it do not have electricity.
The southern port of Mykolaiv, which lies between Russia's occupied town of Kherson and Ukraine's third largest city, Odessa, has also seen further bombings.
A cancer hospital there has been hit, though initial reports suggest it has not been seriously damaged.
