The Ukrainian government has provided details to humanitarian corridors hoping to open roads Friday for civilians to leave areas where fighting is under way due to Russian military aggression.
Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk said 12 corridors will be opened today, including one from Marioupol in Zaporizhja, with humanitarian aid being sent to Marioupol along the same route and the other, from Volnovakha, which is said to have been captured by forces backed by Russia to Pokrovsk.
Tens of thousands of people have been evacuated in recent days through humanitarian corridors, but there have been many failed attempts, as ceasefire agreements have been broken, the BBC reports.
