Steering Council PDK paves way for establishing Good Governance Cabinet

Unanimously, the Steering Council The PDK today approved the regulation for the functioning of the Good Governance Cabinet, which under the PDK statute is a prerequisite for establishing the CEC.

Chairman PDK, Memli Krasniqi, said the PDK, as has been alternative to citizens in local elections, will likewise become an alternative to Kosovo at the central level.

These elections taught us what we knew and should always remember, that Kosovo's citizen is changing and that the PDK is in step with the changes that citizens need. We have confirmed that words, dramatizations and legalisms, never have been and never will be substitutes for the proximity, sensitivity and shared treatment of concrete topics of importance to Kosovo citizens. And without a doubt they have motivated us, to capture this moment, to spread this spirit not only in transforming the lives of citizens into municipalities, but also at the central level, because this moment is not just a moment for PDK. It is first of all, the moment for the citizen who needs today more than ever for a unique, strong PDK, in which he can believe his plans of perspective and future. So this moment cannot escape. And as chairman of The PDK, I guarantee today that we will not let it go”, Krasniqi said.

At today's meeting of the Steering Council, the Democratic Party results were also discussed in the recent local elections, where the PDK has won the majority of major Kosovo municipalities, while it was decided to reshuffle the PDK branches that have scored poor results in recent elections.

The Steering Council also discussed the PDK's political reshuffle in the exiles, as well as party membership in international sister organisations.
