A Chinese development bank based in China has suspended its activities in Russia and Belarus.
The Asian Investment Bank for Infrastructure (AIIB) has decided to erase all activities in the two countries mentioned above, reviewing several related projects.
According to CNN, China controls 26% of the bank's capital, meanwhile Russia 6%.
China had increased funding for this bank in 2016 to create rivalry for the U.S. Bank.
