Russia attacks biggest nuclear power plant in Europe

In the early hours of March 4th, officials in Ukraine have reported that Russian forces have bombed a nuclear power plant in Zaporizhja, Ukraine. This is the largest nuclear power plant in Europe confirming the fire, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said on Twitter that the Russian Army “is shooting from all sides” [...]
Confirming the fire, Ukraine's Foreign Minister, Dmytro Kuleba, said on Twitter that the Russian Army “is shooting from all sides” in the complex of this nuclear power plant.
He warned that a disaster there could be worse than that of Chernobyl in 1986.
Kuleba called for an immediate break in the Russian attack to leave firefighters with space to extinguish the fire.
Following fire reports on this nuclear power plant, the International Atomic Energy Agency said it is in contact with Ukrainian authorities.
This agency has written on a Twitter post that “is aware of the promotion reports at the Zaporizija” nuclear power plant and was in contact with Ukrainian authorities for the situation.
After publishing the news, US President Joe Biden has also called Ukraine's president Volodymyr Zelensky.
The White House has said it is monitoring the situation following the fire explosion at this nuclear power plant.
