Mr. Qalaj has spoken about Periscope regarding the government's recent decision on this fund.
He said Kosovo's military should be funded from the state budget, not citizens.
Qalaj also opposes this decision by saying that this initiative is outside legal institutions, and that, according to him, is more populist.
“Precisely the issue of the funding establishment in this phase, and the voluntary-based issue, which is quite contradictory to me because we as a party (PDK), think that the Kosovo Army should be funded with the budget of the state of Kosovo, and we also support any initiative that passes through legal procedures through parliament, and also if the government decides to share police tools from the state budget, of course the PDK will support that. But anything else that's outside legal institutions, I'm thinking that this has been a government initiative that's more populist, I think it's not hit, and we as a party say our word. ”, PDK deputy Rasit Qalaj said in a premonition for Periscope.
We remember that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti said this fund was founded based on the needs of the Kosovo Security Force, the current “cyst, and after consultations with international partners”. / P ERISCOPIA
