Russia wants to announce former Ukraine President Viktor Yanukovych édating during the 2013-2014 anti-government protests as the new leader of Ukraine, the news agency Ukrayinska Pravdaú reported, quoting Ukrainian intelligence.
Yanukovych is now located in Minsk, according to Ukrainian web site sources.
The Kremlin is likely preparing a media operation or a campaign to return Yanukovychin to Ukraine, or publish its address to the Ukrainian people, the paper says.
In January, the United Kingdom said Moscow is planning to install a pro-Moscow figure to lead the Ukrainian government, the BBC writes, records Periscopi.
