Prostitution: Six people arrested, 14 massage centres closed in Kosovo

Six people have been arrested by them two have been sent into holding for up to 48 hours, as well as two cases have been initiated for involvement of suspects in criminal acts of wrestling or forced into prostitution and the adoption of prostitution premises.
These arrests came after an operational plan, which by March 15th and March 16th 2022, has been implemented by carrying out searches at various massage centres. Police investigators from DHTNU have implemented this plan in co-operation with MTI inspectors and with ATK.
Through a PK media communiqué, it becomes known that 14 locals have been closed and fines have been pronounced for registered irregularities.
“During the implementation of the police operation, 107 (a hundred and seven) persons (96 women, two minors and 11 males) have been legitimised. Of the legitimate persons, with foreign citizenship, 19 (nine) have been encountered by Albania, 4 (four) by Thailand and 1 (one) by Romania. Foreign citizens in the absence of standing permit have been treated by the Directorate for Migration and Foreign of the KP”, they reportedly announced.
