The government's chief has said that Kosovo is affected by price hikes due to its heavy dependence on import.
“Today, two weeks are taking place from the beginning of aggression in Ukraine. Our Republic has shown readiness for the admission of 5 thousand refugees from Ukraine and we have allocated 150 thousand euros for the admission of journalists from Ukraine. We remember that Russia is one of the largest oil and gas exporters in Europe”.
“Energy that enables production and oil for transport are the beginning and end of the chain. You know, we also understand each of you're concerned about rising prices. Even though this is caused by us, it's touching us too. When we joined the world for sanctions 12 days ago, such costs were inevitable. But this is the cost of protecting freedom and democracy”, he has said.
