Power supply resumed at Chernobyl nuclear power plant

Ukraine's National Energy Company (NEC) has completed repair work and resumed power supply for Chernobyl PP.

This was announced by the company.

“Ukrainian NEC specialists “UCrenergo” finished repair work on 330 kV line, and resumed power supply for Chernobyl NPP and the city of Slavuitch”.

Otherwise, the power system of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant has been damaged during a Russian attack on 9 March.

After the attack, the plant was dependent on foreign oil generators to keep its reactors in operation.

This was made known by the International Atomic Agency Agency (IAEA).

Russian officials have also arrived at Ukraine's largest nuclear power plant, seeking to take control of the facility.
