He called on all European bloc states to impose tougher sanctions on Russia due to the start of the Ukraine invasion.
“Polonia is proposing to add the trade blockade to this package of sanctions as soon as possible, including at sea ports... but also stop in the trade done through road transport. The complete break-out of trade with Russia will move Russia to consider the possibility that it is better to stop this cruel fight”, Morawicki said.
Earlier this week, EU states agreed to the fourth package of sanctions against Russia. Details of the new sanctions have not been published, but the French presidency said that the status of the most favoured “state” in Russia's trade will be removed.
Since Russia began its invasion of Ukraine on February 24th, severe sanctions on Moscow have imposed the United States and other states worldwide. / REL
