Oil and Gas Prize in Northern Macedonia is nearly 1 and a half euros

North Macedonia journalist Bekim Laci spoke at the Kosovo Clan Info Magazine about the rise in the price of products in northern Macedonia, saying that neither North Macedonia has stood immune to the trend of rising prices in the region.

“In North Macedonia the expensive started in December last year, where basic food products began to be expensive, cooking oil rose by 25 percent, bread, sugar, fruits, trees and vegetables gradually started to raise price”. While in January we had an additional electricity increase of 10 per cent, and this began to cause concern to the people, because usually, with the price of electricity rising, the rising prices of products”, Laci said.

Laci indicated that the price of oil in northern Macedonia is 1 euro and 50 cents, but said the price of gasoline and oil has increased in recent days.

Takeout Laci pointed to another concern in northern Macedonia.

A major concern with price hikes is a problem facing northern Macedonia. In Macedonia, we have the evacuation of qualified workforce because of small salaries, while price hikes are motivating them even more to flee”, Laci said.
