At the Assembly session where it is being discussed regarding the gender inequality of women in society, Musliu has talked about discrimination against women, according to her, women who are in positions of leadership.
The PDK MP has said discrimination is taking place in all sectors.
In politics, women face cultural barriers and gender stereotypes from various things, from insults in terms of intelligence, vision, background and morals. The weights created for women at the end are structural, mediatic, and mentalistic. The ugliest one here is that even in the state dictatorship women manage, female gender discrimination occurs, by women leading in those positions, who in those positions rarely come from using gender policies”, Musliu said.
She has said that women in Kosovo companies are not being placed in leadership positions while they are qualified.
Musliu has said the parliamentary debate should serve to identify gender problems in society and to paint a mirror of achievements and up until now.
She has said that through debate in the Parliament, the challenge of the future must be identified and a real strategy to build a free and sound society.
