National security in the country is estimated to be stable and there is no room for panic. So has the chairman of the Commission for Supervising the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (AKI), Ganimete Musliu, declared today.

Following the report by Kosovo Intelligence Agency Director Petrit Ajjet, on this Commission, MEP Musliu has requested an address to citizens from President Vjosa Osmani and Prime Minister Albin Kurti on security in Kosovo and food supply from citizens.

She assured that Kosovo is not threatened with any uncertainty, said many citizens appear in panic for supplies with numerous goods, including derivatives of flour and others.

“I take the opportunity to ask the president of Kosovo through you, but also from the prime minister to come out and declare the security situation in the country, because an increased panic has been observed among citizens, which has begun to be supplied with numerous reserves, which is disturbing and alarming when we see the derivative pumps in full lines providing for citizens with derivatives, not to talk about flour and other basic articles. That's why we talked to the director, where his message and the entire parliamentary Commission are not to panic, because there is no room for panic. The situation is stable and we are not threatened directly by any uncertainty”, Musliu stressed.

MP security institutions, including AKI, are in charge of office and have no room for concern.

“Therefore, there is no room for panic, the situation is stable, safe”, she said.
