According to the United Nations Agency for Refugees (UNHCR), by the end of this week, some 1.5 million refugees will have fled Ukraine.
“This is the biggest refugee crisis in Europe by the end of World War II”, the head of the country has said UNHCR, Philippo Grandi for Reuters agency, broadcast newspaper Express.
According to UNHCR, so far, Ukraine has been released by about 1.36 million refugees and more than half of them -- about 760 thousand -- have gone to Poland, meanwhile 157 thousand in Poland.
