Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov says the deal is ready with Kiev regarding Ukraine's neutral status.
“Negotiations are not easy for many reasons. But despite that, there is a lot of hope that we will reach a compromise, Guardian quoted Russian Foreign Minister Periscopi as translating.
“neutral status is now being seriously discussed, of course, including competitions related to security issues. This is what we are constantly discussing in these talks. In my view, the parties are ready to reach agreement”, Lavrov said.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski, also in an address to early hours of Wednesday, said he believes a compromise will be possible.
And as I'm informed, the negotiating positions are now a little more realistic. But time is still needed to make decisions in the interest of Ukraine”, Zelensky said.
“Every war ends with a” deal, he said. /Guardian/Periscope
