He expressed that position today during an interview for BBC Radio under the Newsday programme
Journalist: From Russia, there are accusations that Kosovo is sending fighters to fight alongside Ukrainian troops. Is it true?
Prime Minister Kurti: No citizen from Kosovo has gone to fight in Ukraine. They are saying all kinds of dezinforms and false claims because this is part of their hybrid war. Thus, hybrid warfare is full of lies, full of false Narrativa, and hybrid warfare turns into war. We've seen it with Ukraine. The hybrid war does not replace war, it is only its preparation, and we have to worry a lot about all these false accusations because they are warning signs of what will happen next. Let me remind you that President Putin became prime minister of the Russian Federation only two months after Kosovo's liberation in 1999, and also months after Kosovo's February 2008 declaration of independence, he annexed South Ossetia and Abkhazia. So the Western Balkans are at risk because of Belgrade's non-discreet from the Kremlin. / PERISCOP
