Speaking at a meeting of the UN Security Council, meeting at Russia's request, Vasily Nebenzya stated that Russian forces had found evidence of a network of “at least 30XC labs used for biological research and intended to reinforce some deadly “disease”.
He said that the highly dangerous biological <x0-peritory” was conducted in Ukraine in co-ordination with the US.
Nebenzya, gave no evidence of his claims and UN Disarmament chief Izumi Nakamitsu, has said he is unaware of any biological weapons programme in Ukraine.
Meanwhile, the US has called such claims by ridiculous Russia and warns that Russia could use them to justify its possible use of similar weapons against Ukraine.
