She at a news conference said that today they are talking about food oil, while if they are not known whether to talk about salt, sugar or any other food products.
We talked yesterday about the high price of fuel, where our government for each litre is placing about 70 cents in the state budget, while from yesterday attention has been turned into food oil. I don't know what we're going to discuss tomorrow, sugar, salt or any other food product.
In times of crisis, citizens buy flour, some government supporters and are criticising citizens for buying flour and oil, we show them that this is the food structure for our citizens, because according to all indicators, with high unemployment in the inflation crisis we're facing we're a poor country. After a year of government, Kurt remains to tell us whether we are a poor or stolen country”, Bajrami said.
Bajrami said this panic among citizens is caused by the rising prices they are looking at on the market.
The government has not taken any relief measures for fuel prices in the last 48 hours, the price of food oil has increased by 94 percent. We're not panicking, but they're causing the prices that citizens are looking at in brands. While the government is just confirming the situation by playing the spectator”.
She added that up to these moments no executive organ has taken any action regarding this rise in product prices.
“Today Kurti, during his visit to Gjilan, said Kosovo currently has the most expensive oil in the world. So government can only market something that we already know and live on a daily basis. So far we haven't seen any action by any executive body on what's happening to citizens. Where's the government, why did he leave the citizens?
The Prime Minister is trying to please the people with hope. During the time he was in the opposition it was his specialty, but now he is prime minister and now citizens want the hand of the state especially in difficult times like today”, Bajrami said.
