The Montenegrin Parliament will meet today in an extraordinary session to decide whether to fire Dritan Abazovic.
Montenegro's Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapic has officially requested the dismissal of Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic.
The request for the dismissal of the ruling coalition ally comes at a time when Abazovic has launched procedures to take no-confidence motion on the government.
On 4 February, parliament will decide whether the prime minister will fall down or the way will be opened for the country to go into new elections.
Montenegro's parliament consists of 81 deputies and the ruling majority, along with Abazovic's votes, manages to form a fragile majority.
It is expected that with the formation of a new majority, Abazovic will be prime minister of a transitional government that will prepare the country to go to the polls.
