Escobar and Lajcak stressed their support for continuing constructive dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo, as well as the integration of the Western Balkans into the European Union, stressing that it is essential that both sides meet all obligations based on dialogue, the N1 reports.
EU Special Representative for Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue Miroslav Lajcak stressed that “The EU and the US are working closely together and share the same vision for the dialogue process and the future of the entire region in the European Union”, adding that their “efforts aim to reach a comprehensive agreement and implementation of all agreements signed so far”.
Meanwhile, the Serbian president has declared that his country is meeting the obligations that are coming out of dialogue and is facing provocations from Pristina.
Vuciq thanked Escobar and Lajcak for their commitment to continuing dialogue, stressing that Serbia respects their efforts to stabilise the region and that the two officials make a big contribution to their pragmatic approach and commitment to ensuring an atmosphere of neutrality in the dialogue process.
Otherwise, Escobar and Lajcak have stayed in Kosovo, where they met with state leaders and opposition parties.
