In his recent speech, Zelensky says Russia is fleeing the civilized world by its military actions, stressing that Ukraine is not intent on doing anything like that.
Zelensky has talked about an operational pause and claims Ukrainian forces have successfully defended the eastern region of Donbas, as well as fought near Kharkiv, reports the BBC.
Zelensky says the most problematic area is in Kherson in the south of the country, where Russian troops have moved north from annexed Crime.
He has also mentioned the losses of military troops, as well as Russian soldiers captured. Finally, the Ukrainian president says the army has destroyed many Russian vehicles.
