The ministry also recorded 198 deaths due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, reports atish.
The Health Ministry announced that “around 84% of people aged 18 and up in its population of 84 million have been fully vaccinated. While the Omitron version remains dominant in the country”.
Along with Bio vaccines NTech/Pfiser and Sinovac, Turkey is also using the Turkishovac vaccine produced in the country, but doctors' associations have charged that very little data on Turkovac has been made available to the public.
