His picture is taken in the room where he saves life in the blood transfusion department, where his second home is, and where his blood becomes the reason for someone to continue living.
Kosovo Special Unit Police Progress Gosalci is the hero police who, in addition to protecting the safety of citizens, made a very human gesture. And that's because progress has donated blood and thrombocite 125 times, thus providing hope for life.
He's been telling about Telegrafie what it's like to donate blood and save lives. Gosaltz shows that it is unfathomable to know that he is responsible for someone's continuing to live.
For me blood donation is a human gesture, through which I can be a potential candidate, for saving someone's life. For the first time, I started to bleed in 2001, when I had a case in my family and then I realized the value of blood and the meaning of what was given to blood. From there I have begun to give blood, and I have become a volunteer blood donor until 2005, when the device came that made blood clots and plasma separate. I'm key here, for the only reason because here you can donate thrombocite more often than blood. So you can donate blood four times in one year and you can donate up to 16 times per year”, says Gosalci.
Meanwhile, many people have never made the slightest effort in this regard. Progress, during the month alone, has given four times in January, thus becoming a key factor in saving someone's life.
I, I give the thrombocite very often, every month but I can say that in the last month alone is the fourth time this is today that I'm giving the trumpet. Today is the donation of 125 of blood and platelets. Besides, I take this job very seriously, especially when they're little children. As in today's case, he's a 10-year-old kid and his family comes and he's trying to thank you the best way he can, but he doesn't find the right expression, and I'm having this part of it very much. On the other hand, I'm a cop, and I practice this profession since 2005, and a cop in Special Unit, I'm about 10 years from”, he says.
Gosalz has no problem with the clock, and even if the need for blood is presented in the late hours of the night, he will necessarily be in a blood transfusion, available at all times.
There are various ways I've been thanked by the family, for whom I've donated blood, but there's one case that I've been working on for you. It was Sunday weekend, in late hours of the evening there was a need to donate blood and I was called into blood transfusion, I went and donated blood, there was a mother who needed blood. And her brother stood beside me all the time I was giving blood. I start massaging my arm thinking I'm in pain. All the time you asked me questions if you wanted to buy him a hamburger, whether you're hungry or pained, how you're feeling. And then I told her that no, honey, I don't mind that. Trust me, I can't feel any pain, and it's a huge relief.
That progress is irreplaceable, says the blood transfusion department, the doctor in this transfusion, Jamie Slamnik, says that they pray every day for the health of progress, pointing to the fact that he is willing every time he is asked to donate blood.
Progress for us is irreplaceable. We pray every day for progress to be good and for good health so that as often as possible I can give a trumpet. He's the only donor that can answer us at any time or time. When we have an urgent request, we make progress only one call. We need urgent progress and this guy doesn't ask for time, I'm ready or out of time. Just put the set together in five minutes. I'm right there.
And finally, he has a call for all who enjoy good health and have the good will to help someone in need.
For all who have good health, why not be potential candidates for saving a life. Don't give blood, give him hope for life”, Gosalci finished.
