Smuggling stuff: Phones and other equipment seized at 72 thousand euros, including arrests

Kosovo Customs with authorisation of the Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren has conducted an action where three people have been arrested.

In a media communiqué, it becomes known that after several months of investigation the Kosovo Customs Unit has raided seven different locations in Prizren, where goods smuggled were allegedly kept.

Various goods have been found in this case (cell phones, spare parts for phones and accessors) without origin/submission, so it's smuggled. After the assessment of goods it has been found that the value of goods is 72,179.26 euros, while avoidances from customs duties are 21.509.41 euros”, the communique says.

In this case, by order of the Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren three suspects have been detained for 48-hour.
