Serbian politician: Today is the time for Serbia to show it is with the West, to support Ukraine, to condemn Russian aggression.

Serbian politician Cedomir Jovanovic, who is known for his pro-Western orientation and is known as a connoisseur of the state of Kosovo, has called on the Serbian people and politics to line up with Ukraine and Western values.

History has given us many moments to define itself as a developed, democratic society and a system that represents the citizens' values that it plans to see. Many of us have lost this opportunity that has cost us life, including politicians.

Now is a new historical moment, to show our European values that we promote even with our constitution. There should be no hesitation to send clear messages, to condemn Moscow's aggression and to take a turn that shows a modern and open Serbia.

Everyone deserves to live in peace, support for Ukraine today is support for our children's future. What we want for our children, friends, and relatives today is what we should desire for children in Ukraine, their parents, and the social circle. Peace has no alternative.

In this way, I call on my people to support me publicly in condemning the attacks on Ukraine and Russian aggression that are threatening our future, Ukraine, Europe, but also Russian children themselves.
