Scholz Putin: Fat bad war, you'll pay dearly

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz met with his security cabinet today, and in the statement after the meeting said that the German state would co-ordinate sanctions with the European Union and partners from NATO, writes the New York Times, Periscope follows.

The aim of sanctions is to make it clear to Russia's leadership that they will pay a terrible price to such aggression. We'll make it clear to Putin that he made a serious mistake with this fight”, Scholz said. /Periscope
