The people's money was misused: VV turns out to mention the greed of past powers

The Vetevendosje movement is continuing to try to clarify the oil spending scandal, where many opposition MPs are involved in the party's huge spending.

In a recent response, the ruling party reports once again that its MPs have withdrawn from compensation for travel spending and speaks of the greed of past powers.

Response:

Movement V ENVENTION! of what exists has demanded that MPs' salaries be reduced as they do not correspond to the country's overall wage level and create a gap between represented and representatives.

In 2010, when we became part of the Kosovo Assembly for the first time, we demanded that the wages not remain a matter of individual mercy or determination, but be a matter arranged with letters and formally. This proposal of ours has never received support in the Head of the Assembly.

Also in 2018, our parliamentary group under the revision of the wage bill proposed the number 4 amendment, which literally says: “Deputes don't get any additional additions on the base wage”. This amendment did not receive the support of PAN deputies, and it did not pass.

Now, this case is being arranged by the Speaker of the Parliament through the Parliament's regulation. The 13th salary has been cut off and no longer exists, and among many others issues restricting the spending of public money is also preemptive of travel spending.

The state and society are built on the basis of rules and norms and not on individual definitions of those carrying positions. We believe in our parliamentary group and in its goal of removing the wages and other additions that are too much to be the greed of power from the past.
