Twelve immigrants have died in cold weather conditions in Turkey, near the border with Greece, where each state blames the other for the tragedy.

The two Mediterranean countries have often clashed over the fate of immigrants crossing their land and sea borders.
Turkish officials said nine bodies were found Wednesday morning, until two others were found after the investigation.
Another person was found to have died in the hospital after having been frozen in the body.
Turkish Interior Minister Sulejman Soylu said Greek border guards had stripped people of their clothes and shoes after their arrival, before turning them into those conditions.
Meanwhile, Greek Migration Minister Notis Mitarachi said the deaths were a tragedy, but true “behind this incident has no similarity to the false propaganda prompted by my counterpart”.
