Obilic's chairman reacts to KEK chief's statement of building solar park, without consulting municipality

Obilic Community Chairman Xhafer Gashi has reacted to the KEK chief executive chief's statement, Mr. Nagip Krasniqi, who in the media has presented the construction of a solar park, where KEK has planned projects with no consultation with the municipality this corporation operates. According to KEK director, Mr. Nagip Krasniqi, who has even made this public, has stressed the importance that energy projects must be devoted to, but nowhere has it been remembered to stress the importance of the health of the obilic residents and at least feel the obligation to improve the environmental and environmental situation in Obilic.

Through his reaction, Mayor Gashi has indicated that the KEK, does not respect or enforce any obligation to the citizens of Obilics, which stipulates the Law on Obilics, concerning this during today's Obilics municipality, has directed the paperwork both in the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and in the ministries charged with the Law on Obilics, and also in the ECK management and board, so to ignore, we will follow legal ways.

In his statement given in Gazeta Express, Mr. Krasniqi has announced the construction of a solar park, as the mayor of the municipality of Obiliki, I am very interested in knowing where he will build such a park, without carrying out any single meeting since he received mandate with local-level institutions, respectively in the municipality where the Kosovo Energy Corporation operates, which as an institution does not respect or enforce any obligation to the citizens of Obilic that stipulates the Law on Obilics.

The Obilic municipality welcomes projects and planning, but does not in any form allow the realisation of projects without announcing the whole community. Obilic's municipality is a service institution in the service of citizens and in the protection of their rights, therefore welcomes and requires co-operation by the Kosovo Energy Corporation on this issue, and during today we have addressed a request for their unfinished obligations to the citizens of Obilici who impose law on power, we are awaiting an answer within the deadlines on the contrary to follow other legal actions and ways.
