According to U.D. RTK's director general, Shkumbin Ahmetxaj, Radio of Kosovo director Ernest Luma, has violated the Law, RTK's internal regulations and his labour contract, taking sides and participating in political debates in rival RTK media, which, according to him, is a serious violation of RTK's internal regulation.
“instead of defending respect and seeking calm and dignified manner, the River has committed its own violations, damaging RTK's image. So I ask you to approve my request for Mr. Rivers from the position of Radio Kosovo radio director”, U.d. said. RTK General Director Shkumbin Ahmetxejaj.
Following the vote, it turned out that there were nine votes for Ernest Luma's dismissal and none against it.
Ahmetjekaj said they will soon meet for the election of Kosovo Radio Director.
